Welcome to our 31st Season!
NOTABLE CHANGES FOR THIS SEASON
- Penalty Rule Change: In our continuing efforts to enhance player safety, the severity of the penalty for intentional boarding or body contact will be increased. Where, in the opinion of the Referee, intentional contact has taken place, a double minor will be assessed and the offending player must serve the full six minutes even if his team is scored against during that time.
- Online Registration: Beginning next spring, players will be able to register online for next season on the League web site, using their credit card or PayPal to pay. Players who wish to pay by cheque can continue doing so, but will be asked to register online as well. This will mean the elimination of paper registration, although the few players who do not have online access will still be able to request a form from their Team Manager. More details will follow later this season.
- CPR Training: The League will be subsidizing CPR training this year at a cost of $28 per player. The maximum number of participants is 40. The training session will be held on Oct.27th at the Lifesaver 101 Facility in Etobicoke. See your Team Manager to register.
The Annual General Meeting will be held on October 14th at 1:00 PM. For those who can't attend, we will be distributing a proxy notice to all players in advance of the meeting, giving you an opportunity to vote even if you cannot be there in person.
