The League will now be playing on Monday night out of the MasterCard Centre in South Etobicoke (official home of the Maple Leafs' practice facility.)
Registration for the 2012 summer season will begin on February 19th. Players who signed up last season will be given the first opportunity to register. Team Managers will be handing out registration forms which must be completed and returned no later than March 30th. Any spots still available after that date will be opened up to all other players in the League.
The fee will be $320 ($175 for goalies). Completed forms and cheques should be given to your Team Manager (please no cash). Cheques must be post-dated no later than April 1st.
Once again the League will be made up of four teams with room for 60 skaters (15 per team) plus 4 goalies. Players will be drafted and assigned to teams at the discretion of the organizing committee based on age and skill level.
The season will run every Monday evening over 15 weeks (except on statutory holidays) beginning April 30th, including a round-robin playoff and championship final. Each game will be 60 minutes in length (3 20-minute periods). Games will start at 8:30 PM and end at 11:00 PM.
