NOTABLE CHANGES

Online Registration: Our initial plans were to launch this feature on our website last spring but the system was not quite ready at that time. However, beginning next February, players will finally be able to register online for the following season, using their credit card to pay. Players who wish to pay by cheque can continue to do so, but will be obliged to register online as well. This will mean the elimination of paper registration.
CPR Training: The League will be subsidizing CPR training again this year at a cost of $28 per player. The maximum number of participants is 20. The training session will be held on Oct. 26^th at the Lifesaver 101 Facility in Etobicoke. See your Team Manager for details.
Penalty Rule Change: If a player contacts the puck with the stick above the shoulders, it will no longer be a penalty (unless the stick also strikes another player, in which case a Major Penalty will be called). Play will simply be stopped and a face-off will occur in the offending team’s end of the rink.
The Annual General Meeting will be held on Oct. 27th at 1:00 PM. For those who can't attend, we will be distributing a proxy notice to all players in advance of the meeting, giving you an opportunity to vote even if you cannot be there in person.
